The NASC seal, and who makes Native Pet
Native Pet is on the NASC member list with permission to show the Quality Seal on its supplements.5 To show the seal, a company passes an independent audit, keeps written quality-control procedures and an adverse event reporting system, and submits to random product tests by an independent lab against its label claims.14
Dan Schaefer is Native Pet's CEO and Pat Barron is its COO. When it launched The Daily in 2023, it said it worked with vet nutritionists, veterinarians and food scientists, and that the powder has no additives or fillers.15
